As a Mechanical Engineer at Radical AI you will design and build a suite of novel robotic and autonomous systems to drive a first of its kind material science research and discovery laboratory. Our Mechanical Engineering team owns all aspects of the physical manifestation of our technology. You will help define design requirements from a greenfield solution space and then execute on 3D design, prototyping, validating, and installing mechanical systems within our lab. You will solve a vast array of interconnected problems involving material handling, precision motion control, and refitting state of the art laboratory and metallurgical equipment for automation and programmatic control.

You will take ownership of individual projects and subsystems and bring them to completion using your knowledge of rapid prototyping and low volume manufacturing techniques. Your hardware will fit in seamlessly with the Radical AI branding language and smoothly interface with peripheral systems and equipment. You’ll leverage your experience and expertise to become an indispensable contributor to collaborative engineering initiatives.
