What you will do

We are looking for a mid-level engineer who will be responsible for delivering robust, performant and resource-efficient Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Platform Infrastructure for demanding Teradata analytic and AI workloads. This is a critical role for providing our customers with Teradata Cloud Platforms they can count on to be highly available and performant.

You will be responsible for

• Deploying and configuring Teradata Public Cloud systems.
• Characterizing / Tuning infrastructure performance and resource utilization / efficiency (CPU / Storage / IO / Network).
• Stressing infrastructure up to, and beyond, manufacturer limits to probe for weaknesses to ensure robust and performant infrastructure under intense Teradata analytic and AI workloads.
• Developing automation for analyzing, characterizing and monitoring system behavior based upon changes in configuration and underlying technologies.
• Solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
• Working with infrastructure providers to understand and resolve issues.
• Supporting Teradata customer field issues related to platform robustness / availability, performance and configuration / deployment.
