Job descriptionPrior experience with estimating Experience in the building materials industry, insulation preferred Ability to read, interpret and accurately take-off constructions drawings. Experience with Microsoft Excel and other estimating software Must possess excellent communication skills College Degree preferred but not required.
Our client, a large Commercial Construction subcontractor in the Insulation and Flooring industry is actively looking for an Insulation Estimator for our their division near Rocky Hill, CT. This is a salaried position that offers competitive pay, amazing benefit package, and a great atmosphere.
Objectives :
- Assist in all sales and build customer relations
- Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of projects including labor
- Assist in the management of the operational capabilities
- Drive performance so that each project is completed under budget and on schedule
- Perform take offs, generate proposals, and secure work.
- Develop and enforce best practices to endure operational efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans
