Candidate must reside in Birmingham, AL

Flight Dispatch Manager must hold an FAA Dispatch license in good standing with the FAA.

Manager will also perform Flight Dispatch Duties

Reports directly to the Director of Operations. The Flight Dispatch Manager is responsible for management of the AirMed flight dispatch department. AirMed flight dispatchers report to this position.

Responsibilities for Flight Dispatch Manager :

• Ensures daily coverage is scheduled for the Flight Dispatch department.
• Ensures all FAA and company regulations and policies are followed.
• Maintains US Customs and company crewmember databases and ensures they are current.
• Liaisons with US and international customs authorities.
• Process and ensure compliance with all TSA employee and passenger vetting requirements.
• Ensure other company departments are aware of anything that could affect any current or planned flight operations.
• Maintains CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) data. Prepares and presents quarterly CQI briefings to senior management.
• Ensures all required aircraft documentation is current and on board each aircraft. Including but not limited to Insurance documents, operating permits, military permits (CALPs). Reviews and update aircraft documentation as needed.
• Processes and enters aircraft charges / invoices in the company accounting system.
• Reviews, approves and pays any aircraft associated invoices.
• Responsible for training Flight Dispatchers and reviewing their performance on an annual basis.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
