Now Hiring: Counselor II, Senior Alcohol & Drug Counselor Location: Woodridge Interventions,2221 64th St., Woodridge, IL 60517 Salary Range: $24.05 to $26.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time (Men's unit) As a Counselor II, you have an opportunity to make a difference every day by helping people with substance abuse issues gain control of their lives. Our diversified array of services includes alternative education, outpatient counseling, in-home services, shelter, detention, residential treatment and re-entry/transition services. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Current licensure, CADC, or IC & RC required LPC or LSW or LCSW or LCPC ( LCPC preferred) Two (2) years’ experience working with Substance abuse. Preferred. Two (2) years of counseling experience. Ability to work independently. Ability to exercise discretion and use independent judgment in making decisions. Ability to promote positive behavior and manage resistant behavior. At least twenty-one (21) years of age. Valid driver’s license from employee’s state of residence.
