Position Title : Manager, Professional Development

Location : Kansas City, Missouri

Reports To : Site Director

What You'll Do :

Career Readiness Curriculum & Workshops :

• Lead comprehensive career development training sessions using an approved curriculum to prepare learners for job attainment and entry into mid-level jobs in Information Technology.
• Provide professional development coaching to learners in a diverse range of complex subjects, encompassing interviewing techniques, crafting resumes and cover letters, optimizing LinkedIn profiles, devising effective job search tactics, fostering workplace success, delivering career advancement training, and various other areas of expertise.
• Utilize the Professional Development curriculum to prepare each learner to complete the job readiness assessment.
• Offer remediation workshops and individual coaching sessions for learners needing extra support.
• Take full ownership of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) focused on job readiness.
• Assist the learners with preparing their resumes for the job readiness assessment.
• Accompany the learners to offsite corporate engagements and offsite events.
• Manage a class size of up to 40 learners (the local class is connected to a satellite campus)

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary of $60,000 / year, with a range between $55,000 / year and $60,000 / year, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualifications and experience.
