Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant General Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nacogdoches Southwest, located in Nacogdoches, TX. The Assistant General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure excellent guest service, and lead and develop the hotel team. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring proper maintenance of facilities, handling guest relations, supporting budgeting and financial management, and ensuring compliance with brand standards and policies. The Assistant General Manager will also work collaboratively with the General Manager to achieve the hotel's business objectives while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
• Experience in hospitality operations, including guest service, staff supervision, and facility management
• Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Previous hotel management or supervisory experience is a plus
