Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Ultrasound Tech

Job Details :

  • Work 40-hour shifts with call coverage when appropriate
  • Must be competent to proficient in abdomen ultrasounds including aorta, IVC, liver / biliary, pancreas, spleen, and renal procedures for both normal and pathology cases
  • Perform GYN ultrasounds including breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, and pelvis examinations for pathology and normal cases, post-menopausal, transvaginal, adult and pediatric patients
  • Conduct OB ultrasounds for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester, amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profile, gestational age, placental grading, abnormalities, and IGUR
  • Perform procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative support
  • Handle neonatal ultrasounds for congenital anomalies and neonatal head examinations
  • Conduct superficial structure ultrasounds including abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum, testes, and thyroid
  • Perform vascular ultrasounds including carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex
  • Work with Canon i700 equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS systems
  • Minimum 3 years experience in acute hospital setting required
  • Must have ARDMS certifications (AB)(OB)(RVT) and active AHA BLS certification
  • Floating to other units and departments as needed
  • Dress code requires personal scrubs and healthcare professional attire
  • Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
