As a Security Professional - Retail Mall Patrol Driver in Middletown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you'll play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. You'll work with a team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service, while supporting a welcoming and secure environment for visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $20.00 - 21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Wed 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sat 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter undesirable activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, management, and / or local authorities as required.
  • Document incidents and complete reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a current CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
