Manage engineering changes and the introduction of new technologies or new processes to the production plant. It functions as a communication bridge between global teams and the plant. Look for standardization between plants from other countries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Engineering Change Coordinator

Responsible for the implementation of engineering changes in the assembly area. Direct monitoring meetings with the functional areas in the plant and attend the meeting of new ECO's with the R&D team; take the update of ECO data base (tracking File).

  • Keep BOM, items, routings up to date in SAP
  • Process incoming change request quickly
  • Detect & correct incorrect data, handle issues list.
  • Efficient support to keep the deadlines in daily issues and project environment
  • Effective communication
  • Follow-up the processes
  • Define the proper bill of material
  • Define the necessary tasks, communicate, and follow-up the activities
  • Give support to achieve the common goals.
  • Keep deadlines
  • participation on trainings

Industrial Engineering

Develop standard procedures, systems, calculations, communications and reporting for all of the following Industrial Engineering activities. At each facility the output and communication of any and all data will be consistent globally.

  • Plant and Line layout
  • Time Study and Standards Setting
  • Error Proofing
  • 5S
  • Kan Ban
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Work Instructions
  • Visual Factory
  • Root Cause analysis tools
  • Using Employee involvement to solve problems
  • Creating a feedback mechanism to employees
  • Creating Basic Maintenance workflow
  • TPM
  • PM
  • Special Equipment Development skills
  • Jigs / fixtures design / Construction
  • Work Station design / Construction
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION :

    BS Industrial Engineering

  • Related field of study
  • Equivalent experience
  • EXPERIENCE :

    3 years Engineering experience

    3 years experience within a manufacturing / assembly environment

    KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES :

  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent technical and engineering mind set
  • Must be able to work with and present to all levels of the organization
  • Must be willing to work with all levels of the organization with ease
  • Ability to analyze problems and solve work related issues
  • Ability to travel at moments notice and be effective across global locations
  • Ability to be flexible within different cultures while influencing others to standardize
  • COMPUTER SKILLS :

  • Expert with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP / Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains
  • AutoCAD
