Packaging Engineering - Co-Op

Summary

The Plant Operations Internship will allow the successful candidate to enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skills in the field they are studying. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience on the manufacturing plant floor and understand how data is applied to make insightful observations, determine efficiency trends and troubleshooting.

This position will take place during the Spring term.

Responsibilities

• Using systems to their maximum potential and make reporting effective, efficient, timely, accurate, and insightful
• Complete studies on current manufacturing equipment installations to evaluate operational efficiency and line performance. Assist with the support of implementing projects for improvement for instance : Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing
• Analyze current operational processes; develop and implement ideas for improvement
• Develop performance standards & metrics; implement analysis and reporting processes to monitor operational performance
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range : $26.00-$33.00, plus bonus.
