Design Assistant

Jess Lea is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented, friendly, and organized Design Assistant. The successful candidate will elevate company standards and assist the design team. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth in a fast-growing company with a fun work environment.

Responsibilities :

• Keep samples organized
• Assist in creating design orders and sample notes
• Complete retail returns
• Complete weekly line sheets for wholesale launch
• Measure new styles and create size charts
• Assist in preparing for markets
• Check packing slips against ordered inventory
• Assist in creating trend reports
• Create barcodes for new products
• Rebag and tag products to be returned to warehouse
• Add products to Shopify
• Help the team prepare for photoshoots and travel
• Help prepare outfits for photoshoots
• Demonstrate a passion for fashion by understanding trends
• Assist the Jess Lea team with any additional tasks needed
• Prepare meeting and training rooms for design meetings
• Keep fabrics organized
• Assist in maintaining third-party platforms
• Source new manufacturers
• Send invoices
• Assist with virtual meetings
• Manage Dropbox

Hours : Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Work Location : In-person in Magnolia, TX

Education : Fashion Merchandising or a related field preferred
