Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leading elementary school in Bear, DE is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support throughout the school year on a contract basis. This role emphasizes working within an educational setting and serving the speech and language needs of young learners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students within the elementary school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure effective communication support
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing strategies that enhance student success
Qualifications :
Valid Delaware SLP license is requiredPrior experience working in schools or pediatric settings is preferredFamiliarity with school-based speech-language services and protocolsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staffAbility to tailor therapy approaches to meet diverse student needsThis contract position offers :
