Insight Restoration Technician

The ideal candidate for this position should have knowledge in commercial disaster restoration & recovery pertaining to water, fire, storm and mold damage. You will be making an impact each day by responding to customer needs for Water and Fire Restoration jobs. This includes the completion of drying, demolition, cleaning and other restoration activities. Are you excited to join an organization that helps people out in their time of need? Responsibilities

• Perform production/restoration process per work order, IICRC standards and supervisor instructions
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipment
• Communicate openly with the supervisor and other technicians
• Leave the job site with a clean and orderly appearance

Qualifications

• IICRC certification (preferred)
• Experience in water, fire, storm, mold remediation, and contents restoration
• Experience serving commercial properties
• Ability to be work on-call rotation schedule (1 day/week and 1 weekend/month)
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong communication skills
• Computer literate, working knowledge of Work & Excel, business software, upload photos and other programs
• Valid driver's license and pass a background check
• High school diploma/GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 30-40 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50+ pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary

Insight Restoration can also offer many specialty services, such as: content cleaning, sewer backup, formaldehyde, hoarder, eviction and foreclosure clean-ups, as well as building climate control.
