As a Product Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in designing and onboarding advanced computer systems into production while delivering hardware and software support to our clients. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team—including sales engineers, mechanical & regulatory engineers, systems verification engineers, and manufacturing engineering. You will help drive the development and deployment of next-generation edge AI, appliance, and embedded system solutions. Your efforts will directly impact key industry verticals such as transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, security, flight simulation, and media / live events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Engineering team to design and specify hardware and software platforms.
• Manage the revision control of product and Bill of Materials throughout the product’s lifecycle.
• Participate in the launch of new products, ensuring successful delivery to customers.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, firmware, and software compatibility issues in coordination with customers and vendors.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies, including performance evaluations and benchmark testing.
• Monitor vendor end-of-life (EOL) notices and engineering change notifications (ECNs), initiating actions to ensure uninterrupted production of your products.
• Create and deliver quotations and statements of work with the account management team.
• Respond to and resolve advanced customer technical inquiries in a timely manner.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other Product Engineers to support team development.
• Support production teams by addressing technical challenges and ensuring smooth operations.
• Undertake assigned product management responsibilities, contributing to product strategy and execution.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

$110,000 - $160,000 a year
