Supportive Living Caregiver - PRN

Schedule :

PRN - as needed coverage

No set hours or consistent days

Our Supportive Living Coordinators work in our Supportive Living home to provide direct patient care to our adult residents. Spend your day supporting and assisting our residents with transportation to appointments, provide de-escalation skills, med management, promoting independent use of coping skills, and light housekeeping as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

Coordinator duties (under direction of manager / director) to include :

• Assign household chores to residents.
• Monitor resident's rooms for cleanliness.
• Ensure that all residents are properly respecting and maintaining common areas (esp. kitchen, living room).
• Monitor that residents are following house rules including curfew / lights out hours.
• Maintain an inventory of all household supplies (i.e. cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, furniture, household keys, etc).
• Prepare bedrooms for all new residents (i.e. clean linens, dresser drawers, bedroom cleanliness etc).
• Welcome and introduce new residents to all existing residents.
• Review Program and House Rules with all new residents and ensure resident compliance with house rules.
• Communicate in a culturally sensitive manner.

Communication

Attend and participate in mandatory staff meetings, in-services, MDI team meetings

Participate in activities organized to ensure quality of services

Monitor supplies

Additional Job Description :

Please note if the selected candidate does not have required certifications , Rogers Behavioral Health will help to obtain. However, candidate must attend orientation in our Brown Deer, WI and Oconomowoc, WI campuses for a possible week and a half depending on which certifications needed.
