Position Purpose Ensures gaming machines are functioning properly for the quality entertainment of gaming guests. Responds to jackpots, hand-pays, and other gaming machine issues, as necessary. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Provide training, counseling, and evaluation of subordinate staff.Check gaming machine repair log daily.Communicate with slot technicians to ensure that machines are operational.Ensures that Casino and department policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.Maintains a professional, courteous image at all times.Recording and reporting any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather Falls Casino Internal control policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program.Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises Slot Ambassadors during assigned shift, to include supervisor of Slot Technicians in the absence of the Slot Technician Manager.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and / or Experience Education Level – High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Experience – 6-months in a supervisory position preferred Special Skills / Certification – Electronics certification desirable Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions while providing optimum guest service.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Class A Gaming License (As provided for a nominal fee with a clean background check) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
