Director For Bridging The Gap
The Director leads Bridging the Gap (BTG). This is a low-barrier nonprofit ministry of Emmanuel Lutheran Episcopal Church (Emmanuel) in Augusta, Maine, serving individuals and families who are experiencing generational or circumstantial poverty. Current BTG programs include Addies Attic Clothing Bank, Everyday Basic Essentials Hygiene Pantry, the Centralized Helping Fund, and Resource Connection. BTG has a staff of 5 (including the director), who collectively impact over 3,600 unduplicated individuals annually.
Primary Purposes of Position :
- The Director oversees the programs of BTG on behalf of the Emmanuel Leadership Team by : leading the team of staff and volunteers, creating and reporting on the annual budgets, managing contracts with grant writers, and reporting to patrons, networks, and markets BTG within the wider community.
