Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab serving advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant patients, requiring current ACLS and BLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab environment
  • Care for a large advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant patient population
  • Primarily diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures are performed
  • Shifts are from 07 : 00 to 17 : 00, with full-time 38 hours per week
  • On-call rotation required, typically one night per week and every fourth weekend, including some holidays
  • Candidates may only be submitted to one position within the Ascension system at a time
  • Candidates within the local radius may be considered at a reduced pay rate, with the distance varying by state
  • Holiday and weekend on-call commitments are part of the role
  • COVID-19 vaccination is no longer a requirement for this assignment
  • Submission requires copies of certifications, license verification, two references, and a copy of driver’s license

  • Active RN license with current primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Minimum of 1 year cath lab RN experience required
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Nursys license verification required for consideration
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
