Job Title : Travel RN – Medical / Surgical Telemetry Location : Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Position Summary : Central Carolina Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse to join the Medical / Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a variety of medical conditions, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and acute care management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

    • Qualifications :

  • Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med / Surg Telemetry
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
