As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with security-related matters, and providing exceptional customer service to all staff, patients, and visitors. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeFri 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 30 PM Sat 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise in a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for all individuals on site.
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or unusual situations according to company and client protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining composure and professionalism at all times in the healthcare setting.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in hospital environments, including areas such as the morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals as necessary in a hospital setting.
  • Must comply with hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
