Estimated Weekly Salary Weekly Salary Range : $1930–$2070 (estimated) ICU RN Travel Job Details Location : South Charleston, WV 25309 (West Virginia ICU nursing jobs) Facility Setting : Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : October 30, 2025 End Date : January 29, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shifts : 12-hour night shifts (6 : 45 pm – 7 : 15 am), 3 shifts / week, every other weekend, rotating major holidays Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Unit Size : 18 beds (expanding to 27 beds) Charting System : EPIC ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse – West Virginia or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or Critical Care nursing experience Prior travel nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Preferred : PALS, TNCC, and experience with CRRT, IABP, and Impella Proficient in titrating critical drips (Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin) Willingness to float to Stepdown, Med-Surg / Telemetry, or Emergency Department as needed Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Monitor and manage invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring Care for patients with sepsis, acute MI, renal failure, post-vascular procedures, stroke, TIA, seizures, lumbar drains, ARDS, and more Manage ventilators, telemetry, IV pumps, and specialty beds Titrate and monitor critical drips and medications Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and other healthcare professionals Float to other units as required, taking a full patient load when necessary Participate in orientation and complete skills checklists as required Maintain compliance with dress code and hospital policies Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse in South Charleston, WV, and take the next step in your nursing career!
