Job descriptionCode surgical procedures, DX, E / M, and modifiers from paper records (no abstracting) Support prior auth team with coding needs Review charts / queries for clarity, ensure accuracy and compliance Stay updated on vascular / cardiology coding changes (share updates, webinars) Code 30–60 cases / day depending on complexity Software : EZDI (AI-assisted coding), Dr. Z, coding resources / books Role opened due to promotion of prior coder
Cardio Coder – Austin, TX (Onsite)

🕒 Schedule : Full-time, Mon–Fri, 8–5 (40 hrs / wk, onsite)
💵 Pay : $25–28 / hr (higher for 10+ yrs) | Temp-to-Hire
Requirements :
- Certified Coder (CPC preferred; AHIMA or AAPC accepted)
- Strong Cardiology / Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular coding experience
- Confident, self-starter, able to serve as primary in-house coder
