Structural Engineer III

Location : Greenwood Village, CO

CLP Engineering (CLPE) is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer III to join our corporate engineering team and support infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, designs, and cost estimates for power systems infrastructure projects.
• Analyze project requirements and technical specifications, review design and construction plans, and provide recommendations to improve project feasibility, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other departments, project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance with local, state, federal regulations and industry standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely completion within budget and schedule.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure that projects meet design and regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and stakeholders to identify and evaluate potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, materials, and methods in the power systems infrastructure field, and recommend new approaches to improve project outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

Travel

Travel between job sites with 20% overnight travel expected.

Work Authorization / Security Clearance

You must be a US citizen.

You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance for this position.

A valid driver's license is required with a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policy.

We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Salary range $90,000–$110,000 annually based on experience plus eligible to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
