You will join a collaborative, well-regarded team handling a full spectrum of workplace law matters. This role offers immediate client contact, varied work, and the chance to grow into a trusted advisor.
Core ResponsibilitiesLitigate discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, wrongful termination, unemployment, and employment agreement disputes in state and federal court.Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, motions, and agency filings.Represent employers before state agencies (EEOC, ERD) in matters involving discrimination, unemployment, workers’ compensation, and state leave laws.Conduct investigations into harassment, discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, theft, and other misconduct.Advise employers on disability and pregnancy accommodations, separations, disciplinary actions, employee retention, and policy enforcement.Draft and update employment agreements, restrictive covenants, separation agreements, handbooks, and policies.Provide training to HR professionals and supervisory employees on investigations, harassment, discrimination, and compliance.Counsel employers across multiple industries, including education, financial services, and other private-sector organizations.Support a multi-state practice with opportunities to work across jurisdictions.What Makes This Role Stand OutPartnership track - Clear and achievable progression with credit for prior experience.

Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary (commensurate with experience).401(k), health insurance, HSA contributions, life insurance, and strong firm-funded retirement contributions.Ideal Candidate Profile3 – 6 years of management-side labor & employment experience.Strong litigation skills in discrimination, unemployment, wrongful termination, wage & hour, OSHA, or related areas.Experience representing employers before state and federal agencies.Meaningful background in workplace investigations and employer counseling.Strong drafting skills (agreements, policies, handbooks, employment documents).Ability to present to HR teams or train supervisors on employment law topics a plus.Traditional labor experience is welcome but not required.Wisconsin bar admission strongly preferred (or ability to waive in).To ApplySubmit your resume to Strong candidates will be invited to a confidential screening interview.
