The Superintendent will be responsible for the timeline of the construction projects. You will oversee and manage project schedules, monitoring the progress of the construction workers, and ensureall necessary equipment and supplies are available. The superintendent will be required to create a positive atmosphere and team working environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent business acumen, and a high level of competency in time and organizational management.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborating with project managers, clients and other management personnel when determining budgets and timelines
  • Coordinating deliveries of material and equipment with suppliers and vendors
  • Creating schedules for workers and subcontractors
  • Maintaining a daily log of construction site operations and identifying any gaps or areas that need to be addressed
  • Implementing techniques and strategies that are both efficient and cost-effective
  • Implement safety and quality guidelines
  • Conducts safety meetings and delegates responsible for overall site safety by ensuring all onsite personnel comply with project procedures and safety requirements
  • Responsibly manage and swiftly resolveon-site issues and emergencies to ensure operational continuity and client satisfaction

  • Strong knowledge of the construction process, methods, materials, tools and equipment, and relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stake holders.
  • Requirements :

  • Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.
