We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts. As part of a home building and remodeling company, you will play a key role in managing financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping processes. Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure proper tracking of transactions.
- Manage daily cash receipts and update financial systems accordingly.
- Utilize QuickBooks to handle bookkeeping tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor and manage job costing to track project expenses.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments.
- Collaborate with the team to provide financial insights and support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Generate regular financial reports to assist in decision-making.
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, including account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience in bank reconciliations and managing daily cash receipts.
- Familiarity with job costing preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.
