Key Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a Class A or B straight truck or tractor-trailer with a refrigerated unit.
• Transport temperature-controlled products (e.g., food, produce) to customers in the Chicagoland and surrounding areas.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and refrigeration unit are in optimal working condition.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, delivery documentation, and temperature records.
• Monitor and adjust trailer temperatures as required to protect the integrity of the cargo.
• Provide professional and courteous service to all customers during pick-up and delivery.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Adhere to all company safety standards, DOT regulations, and traffic laws.
