Tax Experienced Senior, Non-Profit
The Tax Experienced Senior, Non-Profit will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day preparation and gathering of information for client tax returns. This position is also responsible for basic tax research and the ability to interact and assist with client needs. The Tax Experienced Senior, Non-Profit may also be charged with supervising and reviewing the work of Core Tax Services Associates working on nonprofit client engagements.
Job Duties :
- Ensures tax exempt returns (Forms 990, 990-PF and 990-T) are completed in a timely manner
- Gathers and manipulates audit and client information necessary to prepare returns
- Works in a paperless environment with tax software applications, MS Excel, MS Word and Adobe
- Assists clients and professionals with preparation and review of Forms 990, 990-PF and 990-T
- Identifies when research is needed; conducts research on basic and complex tax issues and provides documentation and support for conclusions
- Interfaces with local and national BDO Non-Profit Industry Group specialists
- Provides support to corporate and individual tax practices as needed
- Assists with tax exempt articles for publication and external presentations
- Other duties as required

Education :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, requiredExperience :
Four (4) or more years of public accounting tax experience, requiredExperience with tax return preparation, requiredLicense / Certifications :
CPA, preferredSoftware :
Proficient with MS Excel and Word and Adobe, requiredExperience with tax software applications, requiredExperience with ProSystems and GoRS, preferredOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Colorado Range : $95,000 - $105,000
Illinois Range : $90,000 - $108,000
Maryland Range : $92,000 - $110,000
Minnesota Range : $80,000 - $95,000
