Position Overview

The Detailer - Piping / Pipefitter is responsible for creating detailed drawings and layouts for piping systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and specifications. This position plays a critical role in supporting project coordination and execution, working closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed piping layouts and drawings using CAD software, primarily AutoCAD.
• Perform 3D modeling of piping systems to visualize and resolve potential conflicts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate design implementation.
• Conduct material takeoffs to estimate quantities and costs for project budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes related to plumbing and piping systems.
• Coordinate with project teams to support the timely execution of designs and prevent project delays.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
