Licensed Practical Nurse

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Manson, North Carolina. These are registry positions with our company.\n\nPay Rate : $40 / hour\n

• Minimum one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse\n
• Must have up to date credentials in the state of North Carolina\n
• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)\n
• Ability to build rapport with patients\n
• Compassionate and caring demeanor\n
• Familiarity with medical terminology\n\nJob Responsibilities : \n
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.\n
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation of medication administration.\n
• Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.\n
• Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehabilitation procedures.\n
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, progress, and assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or other designated systems.\n
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.\n
• Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions to promote effective self-management and recovery.\n
• Follow established infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe disposal of medical waste.\n
• Act swiftly and effectively during emergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention and alerting the appropriate personnel as necessary.\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.\n
• Maintains compliance and complies with annual requirements\n
