Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) Outpatient Clinic Queens, NY

A well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in the heart of Queens, New York is seeking an experienced and compassionate Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join their outpatient team. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a diverse, underserved community, while working in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

About the Role

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM

Daily break : Office is closed from 12 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 PM

Setting : Outpatient clinic no hospital or on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to women during prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal periods.

Conduct routine postpartum care and monitor maternal health following delivery.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including nurses, medical assistants, social workers, behavioral health specialists, nutritionists, and pharmacy and lab staff to deliver integrated care.

Provide preventive health services such as physical exams, screenings, immunizations, and patient education.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within the scope of women s health.

Qualifications

Must hold a current New York State NP license and an active NY Medicaid number

Certified as a Women s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Strong communication skills and a passion for community-focused care.
