LaSalle Network is hiring for a highly reputable construction and general contracting company in Lewisville, TX, seeking a Head Of Human Resources due to growth. The Head Of Human Resources will be the architect and leader of the organization's first formal HR department. The ideal candidate will have a "builders" mentality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring extensive knowledge of human resources policies from the construction industry.
Head Of Human Resources Responsibilities :
- Build the HR department from the ground up, defining vision, structure, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership on people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational design.
- Create and implement core HR policies, SOPs, and systems to support scalability and compliance.
- Design and execute full-cycle recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent across field and corporate roles.
- Establish structured onboarding and orientation programs.
- Implement workforce planning practices and succession planning.
- Establish clear employee relations practices, issue resolution frameworks, and documentation protocols.
- Coach and advise managers on performance management, feedback, and corrective action processes.
- Audit and align compensation, benefits, and leave programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, etc.).
Head Of Human Resources Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred).10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 35 years in a head-of-function or senior HR business partner capacity.Proven success in building or scaling HR infrastructure from early stages within a growing organization, preferably in construction, utilities, or field-based industries.Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance specific to construction.Experience implementing SOPs, HRIS, and scalable systems.Ability to build trust and influence at all levels, from craft labor to C-suite.If you are a motivated human resources professional looking for an exciting, impactful opportunity, apply today!
