Description of Duties :

The Junior Software Developer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will :

• Perform application development supporting total lifecycle management and operations utilizing Kinetic platform.
• Plan, test and implement major upgrades.
• Perform local customizations and system enhancements necessary to meet business needs.
• Work with a team of experienced software engineers to automate business processes and perform Operations and Maintenance (O&M) on existing applications.
• Tasks include daily system checks, application configurations, vendor updates, responding to customer requests and ensuring security best practices and compliance with Information Assurance standards.
• Interface with other team members to ensure cross-platform compatibility and standardization.
• De-conflict requests / requirements.

Basic Requirements :

This position is expected to pay $36.05 / hr – $48.07 / hr; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position
