Summary

We are seeking a skilled individual to use software to convert designs into technical drawings and plans. The role involves preparing precise technical drawings for use in construction projects.

Essential Functions

  • Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.
  • Develop technical drawings from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects.
  • Collaborate in designing products using engineering and manufacturing techniques.
  • Enhance architectural plans by incorporating knowledge of building techniques.
  • Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects.
  • Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
  • Work under the supervision of Senior Leadership.

Education, Qualities & Skills Required

  • Minimum 2-year degree with at least 5 years of HVAC / Plumbing estimation experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD® and MS Office products.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Previous experience as a drafter is essential.
