Make a splash this summer: become a Lifeguard 1 and keep your community safe! Are you ready for an exciting and meaningful way to spend your summer? As a Lifeguard 1 for the City of Wichita, youll be at the heart of the action, helping to ensure our neighborhood pools are safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone. This entry-level seasonal role is a fantastic opportunity to build lifesaving skills, gain valuable work experience, and contribute to your community all while having fun in the sun! In this role, youll monitor pool areas to prevent hazards, respond quickly to emergencies, and enforce safety rules. Youll also have a chance to assist with swim lessons, participate in ongoing lifeguard training, and learn about basic pool maintenance. Its the perfect job to build your confidence, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and create positive summer experiences for both you and the patrons you serve. If youre 15 or older, love the water, and want to make a difference while having a blast, Lifeguard 1 is the role for you!
