Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details : \n

  • Work 36 guaranteed hours per week with alternating schedules

    • \n

  • Week 1 : Wednesday-Saturday 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Week 2 : Wednesday-Friday 7 : 30 AM to 8 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Position requires floating between two sites working on a mobile MRI unit

    • \n

  • Wednesday and Thursday shifts at Page Memorial Hospital

    • \n

  • Friday and Saturday shifts at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital

    • \n

  • Weekend requirements : Every other Saturday

    • \n

  • No on-call requirements

    • \n

  • Perform optimal MRI procedures for patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric

    • \n

  • Maintain effective department workflow during high demand periods

    • \n

  • Work with EPIC electronic medical record system

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS (AHA only) and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT

    • \n

  • Must be registered or registry eligible with certification required within 6 months of hire date

    • \n

  • 2 years of clinical experience as MRI technologist in hospital setting required

    • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • \n

  • Dress code : Caribbean Blue scrubs following facility dress code policy

    • \n

  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professional communication

    • \n

  • Ability to work under stress and maintain professional attitude with difficult patients
