As a Horizontal Directional Drill Locator at Ledcor, you play a critical role in supporting underground fiber installation projects by guiding drilling operations with precision and safety. You'll utilize locating equipment to monitor bore paths, identify underground utilities, and ensure accurate placement of fiber infrastructure. Your expertise helps prevent utility strikes and keeps projects on track, all while working closely with drill operators and field crews in dynamic outdoor environments. Essential Responsibilities :

• Provide HDD drill head location services for the HDD Operator around and / or on utilities for fiber installation projects
• Operate HDD Locator equipment in accordance with company and industry standards
• Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor
• Install conduit, vaults, and cable work when not locating
• Maintain all equipment in good and safe working condition and report any findings to lead hand
