Depot Management Role
Depot Management by planning, organising, leading, exercising control. Maintaining quality service in the warehouse and transport function. Contributing to the development strategy of the business. Managing internal management systems and business processes effectively. Ensure customer service is of the highest standard and that losses to the company are kept to a minimum.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Effective management of resources to achieve operational and business objectives and key performance indicators.
- Managing operations within the budget.
- Playing an active role in the annual budget.
- Drive and develop team culture.
- Strive for continuous improvements.
- Effective implementation of business development initiatives.
- Professional approach to interaction with clients and customers to achieve maximum benefit to all.
- Managing internal management systems.
- Manage a high level of staff competence.
- Managing of risk at the site.
- Team management.
- Compliance to BRCG Storage and Distribution standard.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Min 5 years experience in FMCG environment.Industry knowledge in FMCG / Logistics.Diploma / Degree or equivalent will be advantageous.High level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability.Knowledge of warehouse ERP.Intermediate knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams and MS Outlook.People management experience.Package & Remuneration
