pulliSupports preconstruction, leads and manages operational plans for project pursuits. / liliDevelops and manages the overall construction schedule(s). / liliReviews and offers feedback for trade partner scopes of work and contract prior to be finalized. / liliSupports the overall project permitting process. / liliAssists with the development of General Conditions and General Requirements. / liliManages and provides feedback to associates developing overall site mobilization, construction workflow, and comprehensive hoisting and rigging plans. / liliManages and / or leads project pre-planning / kick-off meetings with trade partners prior to mobilization. / li / ulpSafety / pulliManages, prepares, and implements project safety plan with guidance from the Safety Department. / liliManages weekly site safety walk-throughs, ensures documentation, and corrective actions are immediately resolved. / liliCoaches project team to assist in assessing project risk. / liliLeads by example to set the tone and expectations for the safety culture of the project. / liliLeads and / or manages the ORM process, ensures they are completed and documented daily. / liliManages and engages in Safety Orientations, ensures they are being conducted and documented for every worker onsite. / liliEnsures trade partner safety requirements are received and in place prior to site mobilization. / liliLeads the review of Hazardous Building Material Survey(s). / liliLeads potential High-Risk Activities and assists with the pre-planning and implementation of action plan. / liliLeads Safety Stand Downs onsite. / li / ulpLogistics, Self-Perform Building Performance Solutions / pulliManages comprehensive equipment needs with the Logistics Center using the equipment utilization plan. / liliLeads budget review and establishes a plan to maximize tool and equipment rental enhancements. / liliManages production rates with team to ensure work is being performed within budget and unit requirements. / liliOversees the development of project staff and field craft needs. / liliEnsures self-perform is receiving adequate notice for any manpower request. / liliProvides feedback, addresses disciplinary issues, encourages and recognizes team members. / liliManages schedule, coordination, and unit tracking of field craft and self-perform tasks. / liliManages and coaches project staff for the development and implementation of recovery plan if needed to get back on track. / liliWorks with Building Performance Solutions to ensure services are used as required for the project (if applicable). / liliManages QAQC site specific plan. / liliEnsures non-conforming work is being identified, tracked and corrected through proper documentation. / liliManages overall mock-up process, develops a plan, and ensures implementation. / liliManages and leads preinstallation meetings prior to any trade partner starting work. / li / ulpField Management Controls / pulliEnsures project is secure, site logistic plan is implemented, and company branding is installed. / liliLeads and manages overall project documentation ensuring documents are maintained, organized, and up to date. / liliManages and ensures regular photo documentation is being conducted. / liliEnsures changes or field as-built are documented with the design team. / liliCo-develops and leads or supports team in OAC and weekly Progress Meetings. / liliManages overall implementation and compliance of the SWPPP. / liliEnsures all utility locates have been completed prior to any required excavations. / liliEnsures building control points are established, identified and protected. / liliAssists and coaches team to ensure FWDs are in place ahead of any extra work being started. / liliEnsures project site is clean, organized and representative of McCownGordon expectations. / liliManages the punch list and close out processes. / li / ulpRelationships / pulliBuilds and maintains superior relationships with clients, design team, trade partners, and associates. / liliParticipates in community and professional associations. / liliRepresents the company in a professional manner at all times. / liliProactively addresses issues / conflicts and follows through to positive resolution. / liliRepresents Company as liaison for all project site visitors. / liliDevelops and promotes a high performing team. / li / ulpSchedule Management / pulliEnsures the overall schedule management processes are updated, complete and accurate in accordance with procedures, and policies. / liliLeads change control process, including impact analysis, documentation, and internal and external communication to all project stakeholders. / liliMonitors adherence to project schedule milestones identifying risks and deviations. / liliManages and coordinates trade partners, vendors and site staff on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis. / liliEnsures master schedule is updated and delays are properly documented. / liliAbility and / or effectively works in the scheduling software. / li / ulpRisk Management Mitigation Plan(s) / pulliEnsures owner contract, trade partner contract, and COIs are in place prior to commencement of work. / liliEnsures the understanding of owner contract, risk, deliverables, and terms and conditions. / liliEnsures overall delay documentation processes (permit, weather, trade partner, etc.) are complete. / liliEnsures project specific risk mitigation plan is in place and adhere to. / liliEscalates complex and difficult situations with appropriate McCownGordon leadership. / li / ulpBudget Management / pulliManages the self-perform, GCs / GRs, and Logistics Center budgets. / liliReviews reconciliation of cost with project management team monthly. / liliManages weekly labor and material reports, communicates discrepancies to appropriate leaders. / liliIdentifies, develops, and manages corrective measures to steer project back in budget. / liliReviews with project management to determine if trade partners monthly billing are accurate. / liliReconciles Field Work Directives on a weekly basis with project manager. / li / ulh3Minimum Qualifications / h3ulliBachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. / lili5+ years experience in the construction industry / liliBasic knowledge of personal computer and e-mail applications. / liliProven ability to accurately schedule construction activities or projects. / liliDemonstrated success in effectively managing safety on projects. / liliLanguage Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients, trade partners, or associates. / liliMathematical Skills : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. / liliReasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
