Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need :

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist (CSFA) certification through National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent. Required

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification Required

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification Required

Successful completion of a surgical first program that meets the minimum standards for an educational program Required

One year or more operating room experience required.

Must have 200 verified patients during the past 12 months or demonstrated completion of training within the past 12 months Required

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Certified Surgical Technician (CST)

Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFA)

Vocational School Graduate
