Summary

Under the direction of the department manager / supervisor and under supervision of a charge nurse / team lead, responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care. Proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Develops and participates in the care plan of the patient.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered licensure or Interim Permit as a Registered Nurse (RN) through the Nevada State Board of Nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
• At least 1 year of experience in antepartum, peripartum, or postpartum care.
• Must successfully complete AWOHNN Advanced Fetal Monitoring within twenty-four (24) months of hireor position entry
• Must successfully complete Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate within six (6) months of hire or position entry
• Must successfully complete S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification within twelve (12) months of hire or position entry
