Job descriptionAssists experiencedmechanicswithvehicle maintenanceand repairs, learning the trade under supervision. Performroutine maintenanceand inspections on trucks and equipment Conductoil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, andlubrication Assist with brakes inspections, fluid levels, belts, hoses, and other key components Identify potential issues and report necessary repairs to the lead mechanic Maintain accurate service records and reports Keep work areas clean and organized incompliancewithsafetyregulations Assist with minor repairs and support the mechanic team as needed Mechanical aptitude, a drive to learn and grow with a team. E.L. Harvey & Sons has an opening fora Diesel Mechanic Apprentice to join our GROWING team at our site in Westborough, MA.
Schedule : Monday - Friday 3pm start time / 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturday's as needed.
Pay Rate : $26.50 per hour
As a key member of our automotive maintenance team, your work as a Diesel Mechanic Apprentice will focus on the overall maintenance of equipment used by our company in the transportation and handling of vehicles. This will involve, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical,hydraulics, suspension, brake andair systemson vehicles and equipment.
