As Supply Chain Manager, you will leverage data-driven insights to enhance UPLIFT Desk’s product and service delivery, collaborating cross-functionally across the organization and externally with suppliers and freight-forwarders. Your expertise in supply chain management will drive efficiency in production, inventory optimization, and transportation strategies, while continuously improving processes and reducing costs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a “can-do” attitude—equally comfortable analyzing data in spreadsheets as they are engaging on the warehouse floor. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or Data Analytics
- 5-7 years of relevant supply chain experience of increasing responsibility, with a strong emphasis on demand planning, with 2 years+ of supervisory experience
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and fluency with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, demand forecasting systems and data analytics
- Understanding of all stages of the supply chain, from sourcing to distribution
- Demonstrated success leading a team of up to 7 people
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Netsuite and Demand Planning tools such as BlueRidgeAdvanced degree such as an MBA or M.S., or advanced training in data analyticsCertification through the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) or other relevant industry group; Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferredExperience at a growth-oriented ecommerce companyPrior history of working with international partnersWhat You’ll Do
Lead, manage and drive accountability while supervising a team of purchasing and supply chain professionalsOwn demand forecasting, purchasing, imports and vendor relationsUse Netsuite, BlueRidge and other platforms to gather, integrate, review, validate, analyze and report data to drive actions and insights throughout the supply chainLiaise with freight-forwarders and drayage companies to coordinate the delivery of inbound inventoryCommunicate with overseas partners regarding manufacturing, quality issues, product changes, ordering and delivery of our productsPartner with vendors to continuously improve service levels and costMaintain a positive working relationship with internal stakeholders in Product Development, Warehousing and SalesFoster excellent communication at all levels of the organization regarding inventory issues, stock levels and inbound deliveriesReport information and present strategic options and recommendations to executive leadershipContinuously improve processes and procedures related to supply chain managementBenefits
