Accounting Manager

We are supporting a growing clinical-stage biotech organization in their search for a hands-on Accounting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-visibility role and support core accounting operations as the company continues to scale. Fully remote — Central or Eastern Time Zone required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including GL maintenance, AP / AR oversight, and payroll accounting
• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and HR to streamline accounting processes and reporting workflows
• Participate in process improvements and systems enhancements as the organization grows
