Therapist - East Henry Academy

POSITION SUMMARY :

The therapist provides direct therapeutic services to identified mental health and substance abuse youths. Provides therapeutic counseling services to youths with emotional and behavioral disorders in school placement. Students must be in an Individual Education Plan with counseling services. Provide in-school and individual, family, and group counseling psychiatric services. The incumbent will maintain patient care following program guidelines and external standards (Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.). The therapist will provide clinical services specifically psychosocial assessments and treatment planning to the following populace : individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

QUALIFICATIONS :

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

General office within a public school setting. The incumbent will be required to travel within Hillsborough County via an agency vehicle or personal vehicle to provide services. Most work is completed while seated using standard office equipment. Multi-tasking, fast-paced, team approach requiring above-average time management skills.
