What you need : Valid CNA card

CPR card

First Aid card

TB test within the last year or chest x-ray within the last 5 years

Fluency in English is essential

Essential functions :

Personal care activities : Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation / transfers, dressing / shaving.

Meal preparation : Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.

Errands & appointments : Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments.

Light housekeeping : Perform light housekeeping activities.

Patient-specific activities : Provide hospice supportive care, medication reminders, assist with prescribed range of motion exercises, blood glucose monitoring, care of bed-bound patients, incontinence care, and use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
