As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff at a retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the premises, and responding to situations as needed. What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the retail environment to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Assist customers, visitors, and employees by providing information or direction as appropriate within the retail environment.

Prepare detailed incident and patrol reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification if required in Texas.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
