Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Art Therapist located in Milwaukee, WI. The Art Therapist will be responsible for conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing personalized treatment plans, and using various art therapy techniques to address the needs of clients. The therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain clinical documentation, and participate in case conferences. The role involves engaging clients in creative processes to improve their mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in Art Therapy, Creative Counseling, and therapeutic techniques
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and the elderly
• Master's Degree in Art Therapy
• AT-P / working towards AT-R, in addition to LPC-IT or LPC (preferred)
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Previous experience in healthcare settings such as hospitals, schools, or care centers is a plus
