• Seasonal travel position in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
• Patient ratios : 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 depending on acuity
• Work with Philip monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Must have experience with care of respiratory failure including endotracheal tubes and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)
• Must have central line maintenance and care experience
• Preferred experience includes post-operative cardiac care and venous puncture skills
• Perform typical procedures including conscious sedations and CT placements
• Must demonstrate flexibility, helpfulness, and humility in patient care approach
• Work alongside experienced staff including charge nurses, bedside RNs, and patient care technicians
• 20-bed unit with 51 total staff members providing comprehensive pediatric critical care Facility : This healthcare facility operates a state-of-the-art 20-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit located on the 3rd floor, providing critical care services to pediatric patients with complex medical needs.
